The navigation menu in Gerty can be opened and closed by clicking the cloud icon on the right side of the screen. The theme includes a bundled snippet that you can use to have the menu hide after a short duration after the page has loaded. Perfect for sites where you don't want to distract from the primary content.
To use the Snippet
Simply drag the snippet to the Header section of the Page Inspector of the page you wish to have the menu auto-hide. The default duration is 2 seconds but can be changed if you wish. (The time is specified in milliseconds so 2 seconds becomes 2000).

Twitter Support
Gerty features Twitter support that is styled to display your latest tweet, complete with link to your profile and icon. Just use the bundled snippet and drag it over to the sidebar of any page you want to display your tweets.

Identify external links to your visitors! Gerty includes an option that will add

Photo Albums Enhanced
Photo Albums are now lightbox enabled using FancyBox. Navigation buttons are also generated so users can click through each picture without having to go back to the thumbnails.
Integrated Search
Gerty features a built-in Google Search box that will search your site for content. For all you RapidSearch users, Gerty is already set up to switch the search box from Google to RapidSearch. View the FAQ for more information.
