Which versions of RapidWeaver does Gerty work with?

How do I enable Twitter Support?

When you downloaded the theme, the disk image contains a selection of snippets. Install the snippets by double-clicking them. To use Twitter, drag the snippet called Gerty: Tweets to the Sidebar of the page you wish to add your Twitter feed to, remembering to alter your username accordingly

How do I auto-hide the menu?

Just like the Twitter snippet above, drag the snippet called Gerty: Auto-hide Menu to the Header section of the page you wish to have the menu auto-hide in. When auto-hide is enabled, the menu togge button (cloud icon) can be clicked to raise and lower the menu. The default setting in the snippet is to have the menu hide 2 seconds after the page has loaded. You can change this if you wish. (Please remember that the time in the snippet is in miliseconds, so 2 seconds equates to 2000).

How do I enable the Search function?

Once the snippets are installed, simply drag either Gerty: Google Search or Gerty: RapidSearch to any part of the page or sidebar. We recommend highlighting the snippet and selecting Ignore Formatting in the Formatting menu.

The Google Search requires no further setup. To complete the RapidSearch function, simply edit the snippet once it's been added with the URL to your search page.

How do I enable the Lightbox feature in a Photo Album?

This feature is part of the theme so it does not require enabling. Likewise, it cannot be disabled.

Why when using PlusKit 2 and Gerty does the FancyBox feature of PlusKit 2 not work?

Don't worry, it does. Because Gerty has jQuery and FancyBox bundled together already, RapidWeaver doesn't display the preview correctly. Once the page/site is exported/uploaded, the feature does work correctly.

We are still testing across multiple browsers but so far have found no issues. Should you find a problem with PlusKit 2 and Gerty, let us know!

I received a new version. How do I update my theme?

In RW, delete the old theme from the themes list then double-click the freshly-downloaded theme to install.

I think there’s a problem with the way the theme is working. How do I get help?

Does the theme work in Internet Explorer 6?

The theme has not been tested with IE6. It will display the content but the appearance would most likely not be the same.
